One of the most sacred pilgrimage destinations for Hindus is Kedarnath, which is nestled away in Uttarakhand, India’s Garhwal Himalayas. As part of the revered Char Dham and Panch Kedar pilgrimages, it is the location of the Kedarnath Temple, which is devoted to Lord Shiva. At 3,583 meters above sea level, the temple is encircled by the Mandakini River and stunning snow-capped peaks.

Adi Shankaracharya rebuilt the temple’s current structure in the eighth century CE, although it is thought to have been founded by the Pandavas during the Mahabharata period. The temple, which was built from enormous stone slabs, is a testament to traditional Himalayan architecture and has stood the test of time. Kedarnath is a deeply spiritual event that represents penance and freedom. Itinerary Details :-

Day 1 –

Delhi to Haridwar (263 Km / 6-7 hours)

Hotel: Ganga Heights or similarMeals: Breakfast and Dinner

  • Meet the company representative with a warm welcome greet.

  • Depart from Delhi to Haridwar by AC Coach.

  • Check-in at the hotel upon arrival in Haridwar.

  • Attend the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri in the evening.

  • Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2 –
Haridwar to Guptkashi (203 Km / 6-7 hours)

Hotel: Nirvana and Villa Aadhya or similarMeals: Breakfast and Dinner

  • After breakfast, depart for Guptkashi.

  • En route, visit Devprayag, where the Bhagirathi and Alaknanda rivers converge to form the Ganges.

  • Check-in at the hotel in Guptkashi.

  • Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3 –
Guptkashi to Sonprayag to Kedarnath (33 Km / 1.5 hours + 16 Km Trek)

Hotel: Guest House and sharing accommodation or similar in KedarnathMeals: Breakfast and Dinner

  • Early morning departure from Guptkashi to Sonprayag.

  • Trek, or take a pony/horse (at additional cost) to Kedarnath Temple.

  • Check into the guest house upon arrival.

  • Attend the Arti ceremony at Kedarnath Temple.

  • Dinner and overnight stay in Kedarnath.

Day 4 –
Kedarnath to Guptkashi (20 Km Trek + 30 Km Drive)

Hotel: Nirvana and Villa Aadhya or similarMeals: Breakfast and Dinner

  • Participate in the “Abhishek” rituals at Kedarnath Shiva Temple early in the morning.

  • Return to the guest house, check out, and trek back to Sonprayag.

  • Drive to Guptkashi.

  • Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 5 –
Guptkashi to Rishikesh (180 Km / 5-6 hours)

Hotel: Bliss Ganga or similarMeals: Breakfast and Dinner

  • After breakfast, depart for Rishikesh.

  • Check-in at the hotel upon arrival.

  • Attend the Ganga Aarti ceremony at Parmarth Niketan Ghat in the evening.

Day 6 –
Rishikesh to Delhi (255 Km / 4.5 hours)

  • After breakfast, depart for Delhi.

  • Drop off at the starting point, ending the tour with sweet memories.
